SubC Imaging won the prestigious Innovation Award at CNA's inaugural Alumni Acclaim Awards, showcasing their evolution from a basement startup to a global leader in subsea imaging technology.

SubC Imaging is excited to announce the release of our exclusive new Hibernation feature, an optional hardware add-on to the Autonomous Camera System. Designed for camera systems running on battery power, this add-on allows long-term timelapse over months and even years, capturing slow processes that wouldn't be visible to the human eye.

SubC is part of an international expedition to find, film, and study the colossal squid in the deep sea for the first time. The group will be surveying locations in the Antarctic Peninsula in December 2022 in the hopes of documenting the world’s largest invertebrate underwater in its natural habitat before the 100-year anniversary of the first discovery of the species.

Just over 12 years ago when SubC Imaging was founded, we sold just one product: The 1Cam Mk2, a subsea imaging camera. We’ve since expanded our portfolio to include DVR’s, several subsea cameras, underwater lights and lasers, and more.

Real-Time Streaming software makes it possible for teams based in various locations to view real-time data simultaneously, allowing for immediate, collaborative decision making. By providing real-time video data, SubC Imaging’s Real-Time Streaming software can reduce environmental impact and improve crew safety by providing an autonomous real-time solution.
