Aquorea Mk3 LED - White
✓ In stock ✓ Available to rent
A high-efficiency, TTL synchronized subsea LED that operates as both a lamp and a strobe. It can be integrated into subsea ROV, observatory, drop, tow, and battery-deployed camera systems.
Available at two depth ratings, the Aquorea can simultaneously operate as a lamp and strobe. When taking a photo, the LED’s activation time is tightly synchronized with the camera sensor exposure time to ensure the video stream is uninterrupted while collecting photos. SubC LEDs and lasers are plug-and-play when coupled with the Rayfin camera.
Key features:
Highly efficient at 180 lumens/watt
Lamp Output: up to 15,000
Lumens Strobe Output: +32,000 Lumens
RS-485 control and TTL strobe
Plug and play with SubC cameras

Deep-Red & Far-Red
Deep-red and far-red LEDs are recommended if you are conducting a natural species behaviour study. Many deep-sea creatures are unable to see in the red spectrum and using a red LED allows researchers to view biota in their natural behavior. Read more tips to pick the best deep-sea lights.
Deep-Blue
The deep-blue LED was designed for underwater biofluorescence and leak detection. Fluorescent chemicals absorb energy from light and then emit a different colour of light. Bio-fluorescence is the absorption and reemission of light from living organisms. Read more in our Guide to Subsea Lighting.
